Bamboo

Bamboo is found near many tea farms, and on all our trips to China eating fresh bamboo meals is always a highlight. We are pleased to offer dried bamboo leaves for your drinking pleasure. Although not really tea, the pretty green leaves steep into a light, vegetal, and sweet brew.

Our Review
When we were approached about offering Bamboo leaf, we were intrigued. What would a liquor taste like from these bright green leaves? As it turns out, they taste quite nice, so we are happy to offer another of Asia's best plants.

Really quite pleasent.
Average Review:

I tried this tea on a whim. Who, after all, would be able to pass up "Bamboo tea"?

My expectations were actually quite low, however this tea turned out to be quite delightful. Its very light and plesent. Like a white tea, only with a more vegetable flavor.

Its also nice to drink cold.

wonderful addition to caffeine free herbals
Average Review:

I'm not a fan of most caffeine-free herbals, but I have to limit my caffeine intake and this is a delight. The closest herbal tea that I have found to represent a light green tea. And yes, one tin does go a long way. Please continue to carry this, Harney and Sons!

Light green tea flavor
Average Review:

I love this bamboo herbal. It is to green tea as white tea is to black tea. it tastes sweet and almost salty, A wonderful change of pace from many other teas. Don't be fooled by the size offered the leaves are light and therefore you get a very reasonable quantity.
