Our Review
Our founder, John Harney, learned about teas from his mentor, Stanley Mason. And Stanley, as Old-school British tea man, only wanted black teas and traditional blends. However one day when Stanley was not looking, John made this delicious fruity blend.

I have a vast collection of H&S teas and this one is up there. Its rich and flavorful, almost like one of their fruit teas. You almost forget its a flavored black.

A very pleasant, balanced tasting tea.
Average Review:

This tea has a fruity aroma and a medium dark color. With the first sip you can taste the subtle black currant flavor and the overall taste is very approachable, not dry or smoky at all. A little sugar, just a little, goes well with the black current flavor. Cream isn’t necessary but it doesn’t hurt. Overall this is fine, pleasant tea.

Great fruity flavor--
Average Review:

This tea has a great fruity taste that's not cloying or artificial. I love a strong cup in the morning with cream and sugar. One of my favorite H & S teas.

Good to have around for a change
Average Review:

I have tried five flavored black teas, and this is my second like so far. It is a little too strong perhaps when you brew it for the full time, so I usually do a brief steep. But it is one of the very good accompaniments to sweet bread topped with a berry or cherry preserve.

Best Tea We've Ever Had
Average Review:

My husband drinks tea by the gallon and we were recently with friends who live on St. Simon's Island where we were served the Black Current tea, iced, for the first time. We had a hard time finding this and are thrilled to have finally connected to a source! My husband is going to be a happy camper on Christmas morning when he opens this box!
