Flight of Teas! December 29th & December 30th
December 28, 2012
It is that time of year that where we all decide what to better in our lives as the new year comes tip-toeing along. Why not this year, while kicking an old habit or starting a new one, better your palette of tea during the process? This weekend we are offering a flight of teas that offer the perfect introduction to different types of tea. We will be serving Japanese Sencha, Da Hong Pao, and Soba Roasted Buckwheat.

Japanese Sencha is an excellent blend to introduce yourself to the world of green tea. A pleasant everyday tea, this Sencha doesn’t have an overwhelming bite or body; it carries the perfect balance of vegetal and grassy flavors. Our Founder, John Harney starts his day with this tea every morning!

Making the resolution to reuse and recycle? Da Hong Pao has oxidized leaves that can be re-brewed several times! Carrying a warm and toasty flavor, this Oolong is an instant favorite amongst tea drinkers. Its dark leaves create a brew that your palette will enjoy, especially in the cold winter months to come.

Soba Roasted Buckwheat is in the herbal family, being that it is truly just roasted buckwheat! Naturally caffeine free, this herbal is a delight in Japan, having a toasted flavor with a slightly sweet finish. Serve this at night to warm the body and relax the soul.
