Author Douglas Adams was once quoted saying, “A cup of tea would restore my normality.” This weekend, find a balance mentally and spiritually while sipping on our wonderful variety of teas. At the bar we will be serving Mutan White, Chamraj Nilgiri, and Lemon Herbal.
With its abundance of silvered white buds, Mutan White is an excellent choice when searching for an introduction to white teas. Its light brew creates a sweeter taste, finishing with a hint of vegetal flavors. It may be more difficult for palettes to first pick up on these flavors, but once it is established, this white tea will be a necessity!
Chamraj Nilgiri FOP (flowery orange pekoe) comes from Southern India. A black tea, its brew carries notes of citrus. Because of its larger leaves, the body is going to be lighter, but can still be paired with milk and sugar if desired.
Taking lemongrass and combining it with lemon rind, we get the ever-delightful blend Lemon Herbal. Its brew is that of a yellow tan color, carrying a brisk citrus flavor that cleanses and calms.
