In honour of this St. Patrick’s Day on Sunday we have an Irish themed flight for this weekend.

Irish Breakfast tea is a blend of northern Indian Assam teas.  With a strong body and malty taste, this tea is great to drink on it’s own, or with a touch of milk and sugar if one desires.  As an Irish Proverb says “Life is like a cup of tea, it’s all in how you make it.”

Malachi McCormick’s Blend is a blend of Indian Assam and Chinese Keemun teas.  This allows for the strength of the Assam to come through, while being rounded out by the Keemun’s smooth and slightly sweet body.  This tea is our response to McCormick’s lament of not being able to find “a decent cup of tea.”  It has been described as “a pure and simple tea that is unpretentious and affordable.”

We chose Matcha Iri Genmaicha as our third tea, not because it is Irish at all, but because it’s so GREEN!  A blend of Japanese bancha green tea, with roasted rice and the addition of matcha (powdered green tea), this bright and almost opaque tea fills the senses for a satisfying tea experience.
