Today for our “Teas on Tap,” we are featuring:

Sencha Scent of Mountains is grown in the village of Kawane. The cold and foggy climate dictates that the tea grow slowly, giving it a lovely vegetal aroma. The leaves can be brewed multiple times.

All-India Blend melds India’s three great tea regions into a smooth, flavorful blend. Darjeeling, hearty Assam and brisk Nilgiri, make a superb brew for breakfast or any time of the day.

Mike Harney

Michael Harney has been the tea buyer and blender of Harney & Sons for twenty years. He travels to Asia and meets with tea producers from all the major tea countries, looking for the season's best teas. A graduate of Cornell University's School of Hotel Administration, he lives with his wife and their three sons in Salisbury, Connecticut.
