Teas on Tap Weekend of 7/21 – 7/22
July 17, 2012
This weekend we will be featuring The Earl of Harlem and Choco Nut in the Ambessa tea line by Marcus Sammualson.
The Earl of Harlem is a new take on a classic blend. This black tea holds bergamot notes of a familiar Earl Grey, but also a kiss of floral and undertones of smokiness. Without a doubt, this black tea blend doesn’t only taste like home to Samuelsson, but will make any classic tea drinker’s taste buds awaken!
Samuelsson reflects on his culinary awakening in Switzerland with this dessert tea blend Choco Nuts. Its base being an aromatic black tea, we have blended hints of dark chocolate, caramel, and peanuts. This tea can be enjoyed any afternoon or can be paired wonderfully with the perfect sweet treat.
We will also be featuring:
Kagoshima: One of the top Sencha’s from southern Japan, with a mouth-filling flavor that is vegetal, sweet, and bitter. Its brew almost resembles a yellow color, while the tea itself is light. For green tea lovers and newcomers, Kagoshima will definitely spark the palette!
Iced African Autumn: A beautiful herbal blend of our Rooibos, cranberries, and oranges. For the fruit lovers, this is a perfect nighttime brew hot or iced. The tartness of cranberry compliments the citrus notes of oranges, while the natural sweetness Rooibos provides creates an overall perfect blend. It doesn’t matter if its summer or fall, African Autumn can be indulged in and enjoyed at any time of day, or year!
