Our Citrus Blend was inspired by our French friend who is a famous pastry chef: Francois Payard. He wanted a blend that uses three types of citrus fruits, so we blended black teas with natural bergamot, grapefruit, and orange flavors. It is a sophisticated delight.

About Citrus Blend

Dry Leaves Dark brown leaves.
Liquor The citrus in this blend gives the liquor a reddish brown color.
Aroma The scent of fresh citrus makes up the aroma of this tea.
Caffeine Level Caffeinated
Body A medium body that leaves a refreshing citrus taste in your mouth.
Flavors This tea has many citrus flavors although orange and grapefruit may be the most obvious flavors.
Brewing Time 4 to 5 minutes
Brewing Temperature 212° F
Our Review
It has been an honor to be associated with Chef Francois Payard. He is opening more & more restaurants. This blend was done for his original restaurant and it works well with sweet pastries. The combined citrus flavors provide a nice counter point to meringue or macaroons or other delights.

I quite enjoyed this particular blend, a few of my friends commenting it's similar tasting to Lady Grey tea. I usually refer to it as Earl Grey plus, as it has the same bergamot-y goodness of the original with a few extra citrus flavors added in.

My favorite tea

I first purchased this tea several years ago and keep coming back to it over and over again. I now buy it in bulk and drink it iced as well. It is the perfect cup of tea anytime of the day. Fantastic!

Most used tea at our house!

My husband and I love this tea. It is his favorite for his morning cuppa. And I frequently use it mixed with other teas to add citrus and lively notes. It's great mixed with the Passionfruit black tea.
