Eternal Love

It was love at first sight over 60 years ago when John Harney met Elyse. Five children and 11 grandchildren later, our fearless and ever-optimistic Master Tea Blender revealed his secret to a Happy Life: "It's my love for life and having a bride who is committed to her faith and loyal to her family and friends." With that in mind, we created a blend of tea that has a balance of all the right ingredients, just like the 60 years John and Elyse have been married. Warmest Congratulations! This tea is a rich blend of black and green tea with white flowers.

About Eternal Love

Dry Leaves	A pretty mixture of the green leaves from Sencha, a mixture of several several black and oolong teas and white cornflowers.
Liquor	A light brown liquor that is crystal clear.
Aroma	This is an unflavored blend, so the vegetal notes of Sencha meld with the toasty flavors of the black teas.
Caffeine Level	Caffeinated
Body	This is a light bodied tea because of the oolong and sencha lighten up the black tea blend. It works for all.
Flavors	There are hints of toasty honey from from the Assam, light coca flavors from the keemun, roasted fruit notes from the oolong and vegetal notes from Sencha all folded into a wonderful flavor.
Brewing Time	3 minutes
Brewing Temperature	208ºF

Our Review

60 years! Wow that is a long time together. To get there, more than one compromise was reached. In honor of their 60 years together, this blend is a compromise of some of the favorite teas of John and Elyse or Elyse and John. There is the Sencha that they have every morning and a blend of black teas that John created over a generation ago. To give it all a festive air there is Assam Golden tips and white cornflowers. This is a lovely tea that celebrates 2 people coming together to overcome all that life throws at them.
