We wanted a tea to celebrate the Holidays and almost fifteen years ago we developed this complex blend that is mellow, yet has some satisfying spiciness. We believe it fits into almost anyone's celebration!

Christmas-y delicious.
Average Review:

I smelled this: it smelled like Christmas. I brewed this: it tasted like Christmas. I don't even know what that means, but it is fantastic.

my father got addicted to it!
Average Review:

I gave my dad a tin of the Holiday Tea sachets a couple of years ago for Christmas. He did not like it at first, he said it was too particular, and he was used to plain hardy black teas. It sat in the cupboard for a while untouched. Then one rainy fall afternoon he asked me where I had gotten this wonderful tea. He described it as something that isn't for all-day-every-day, but something for when the mood strikes. (Duh, it's a holiday tea, dad, of course it's for special occasions!) Now that he's gone through a 4oz tin over the holidays, he's asking for more even though it's almost March and the winter holidays are over...
Now enough with the stories; here is what I think of this tea. I think it is important to note that there's a slight difference in how it brews from the sachets vs. loose-leaf; there is possibly a different tea leaf to spices ratio. Either method is very good though. It is certainly a tea that I wouldn't have for every time I have tea (and I have tea several times a day). It is one to really pay attention to and spend time with, so to speak, not just something to help wash down your biscuit. It is important not to over-brew, or it might get a bit too bitter. If the brewing time is correct the blend really shines with the perfect balance of traditional holiday spices and the tannins of the black tea leaf. I'm still waiting to finish the experiment with my father - it might just prove to be a favorite year-around.

Great pick-me-up
Average Review:

I love this tea, no matter the season. Similar in concept to Constant Comment (but I haven't had that tea in a long time so I can't make a detailed comparison). I normally drink it without sweetener (or milk) but some reviewers suggested honey, so I added a little honey and enjoyed it that way too. A favorite year-round.

Christmas in a cup!
Average Review:

This was a present from one of my good college friends, and was my introduction to harney and sons tea. She described it to me as Christmas in a cup and my first sip was an eye opener into what tea could really taste like. The blend is perfect and brings back many fond memories of the holidays. It's also good to enjoy whenever you need a little Christmas spirit in you!

Reminds me of my youth
Average Review:

In the winter, my mother would fill up the coffee carafe with orange slices and cinnamon sticks and brew up a big pot of hot tea. To this day, that combo is one of those scents that make me happy. This tea comes pretty darn close. The smells and flavors harmonize with each other rather than compete for top spot.

Holiday Tea Is The Best
Average Review:

I recently bought some as a Christmas gift for my friend, who cannot stop drinking it! She says she closes her eyes and savors every drop...the smell of this tea reminds her of the holidays when she was a little girl.

Wonderful Holiday Blend!
Average Review:

The aroma is amazing - I'd buy the tea just for that! None of the flavors overpower the others and you can still taste the tea which is nice as I find so many flavored teas drown out the flavor of the tea. I recommend this!
