As is typical with Assams, this tea has lots of body and a malty flavor.
It has little aroma or daring. My favorite Irish Breakfast contains a
little Darjeeling that adds some aroma and flavor to the mix

I have been drinking Harney & Sons Irish Breakfast Tea every morning for years, and knowing that I can have that life-giving cup of tea has often been the only thing that has coaxed me out of bed. It's bold enough to function as a coffee replacement, but never jangles nerves like coffee does. The taste (with milk and sugar) is my favorite beginning to the day. I have tried other brands, but sometimes they are rough or bitter, and none come up to Harney & Sons standards. This tea is the wake-up call for which you've been waiting!

I commute 10 miles each way to work by bicycle year 'round... and this tea keeps me warm in the winter after those cold miles each morning. I like my tea strong yet smooth, and none beats this tea from H&S!

I love this tea. It has a great flavor. It is verrry smooth. I can drink it all day and not get bad tastebuds or the caffine croup. I also enjoy it in the evening to relax. It is one I keep on hand always.

I'm a new customer to Harney & Sons. I've tried several of their English and Irish Breakfast teas and this is my favorite. I drink it with cream and sugar every morning. Smooth and not bitter--a delight!

Love this tea! It is full bodied yet mellow. Like their descriptions says..it's a more refined version of some of the other Irish Breakfast teas I've tried. I have it everyday with milk or half and half. Good way to start the day. Picks me up but doesn't give me the coffee jitters.

This is my favorite breakfast tea. I drink it black, and it is reliably strong but smooth. I sample other Harney teas, and some I like very much and re-order, but I always have a pouch of my old faithful Irish Breakfast tucked in among the newcomers.

This tea is a great alternative to my most frequent selection of Chinese teas. Its astringency and maltiness fit just right when I want a kick of a different nature. Excellent briskness and aroma - it gives you the honey and toasted notes you expect from Assam teas.

I am shocked a review
hasn't been written yet. I haven't had this tea in a while and if I
didn't brew it myself, I would have been surprised that this tea was
brewed from a bag! It's so smooth and full bodied. Very satisfying!

My family is from the free side of Londonderry Ireland / yet have I found a tea in the US that is like home until now / Thank you Harney & Son's for making my mornings just as great now as I was when I was wee one

This is the only breakfast
tea I drink. I've tried to stray to other teas, but I keep coming
back. Distinct, brisk, full of flavor - the perfect cup of tea.

Very good tea. Great with milk and sugar. A every day tea that you won't get tired of drinking. Would rate higher but it has a lack of daring.

An excellent tea my wife
and I both enjoy very much daily. It's got pucker power which is what
we look for. Aroma is outstanding and flavor is best described as
wonderful. One of my favorites!

I am an Irish Breakfast
tea lover and this is the best Irish Breakfast tea around, which is
saying a lot because I fell in love with it drinking the brands in
Ireland. I start every morning with Harney & Sons...with cream and
sugar, of course! I highly recommend this tea.

This is an unapologetic tea. Simple, honest, and reliable. I agree that it takes milk and sugar/honey/stevia beautifully, but I would definitely have to say it's brisker than anticipated. Then again, I quite like a little cheeky briskness to my tea. And any leftovers can probably be used to clean the underside of my car at the end of a long Canadian winter. In a good way. Then again, we brew it strong enough that the spoon stands up in it by itself ...

Thishas to be one of my favorite teas. I try other teas quite often, but
this one is always in my cupboard. It is rich and malty, good staight or
mixed with cream and sugar, or lemon and honey. A fantastic blend.

Have tried many different Irish Breakfast teas, but none measure up to Harney's. We buy this by the pound and usually many pounds at once. Even hard core coffee drinks enjoy this tea.

A friend got me a Harney and Sons tea pot, with some Irish Breakfast tea. As a new tea lover, this tea is great. It has a great flavor, color and nice kick to it. I am back looking for more Irish Breakfast tea and want to try some new teas too!
