About Jungpana 2nd Flush

Dry Leaves	Bright brown leaves with whitish tips
Liquor	Medium brown liquor
Aroma	Wonderful stone fruit aromas
Caffeine Level	Caffeinated
Body	This is a medium bodied tea. It has more body than the Thurbo Darjeeling from this year, but a bit less than last years' teas.
Flavors	The special fruity of a "Muscatel" Darjeeling: a heady mixture of dried dates, baked peaches, aromatic muscatel grapes.
Brewing Time	4 to 5 minutes
Brewing Temperature	212° F

Our Review

Jungpana is located just over the hill from its sister estate: Goomtee. Unfortunately, it is a big hill and there are no roads to Jungpana, so everything is hauled out by hand. This is a great tea that was extremely rare in the difficult 2012 season.
