Royal Wedding

We were proud to been commissioned to do this tea by the Historic Royal Palaces organization. We are honoured to present our union of Chinese mutan white tea buds, almond, coconut, vanilla, and a floral abundance of pink rosebuds and petals. A regal tea blend to celebrate that glorious occasion in 2011. It continues to grow more popular.

Please note: This wedding blend differs from our regular wedding tea in that it contains almond and coconut extracts. Ingredients: Chinese white tea, rose petals, cornflowers, marigold petals, natural and artificial almond, coconut and vanilla flavors.

About Royal Wedding

Dry Leaves	Broken leaves of green and white tips with pink rose petals scattered throughout.
Liquor	The liquor is a darkish yellow-green, especially when the leaf size has been reduced.
Aroma	An elegant melange of almond, coconut and vanilla.
Caffeine Level	Caffeinated
Body	This is a light to medium bodied tea
Flavors	The white tea flavors are nicely married with the nuttiness of almonds and coconuts and the sweet creaminess of vanilla.

Kate & Will: It was a wonderful wedding in 2011, and we were proud to assist in our small way. This tea, like their wedding we hope, will only get better over the years. This tea is not reserved only for Royal Weddings, because on that special day, we are "royalty."

Too bitter for me

I thought the first few times I brewed this that I must be oversteeping or brewing at too high a temperature but this last time I was very careful using a thermometer and a timer....bitter still. The flavors are all too mild to taste over the bitter grassy flavor. Oh well, this company has lots of other teas I love and I keep trying more. There is bound to be a few "meh"s.

This tea seams to be bitter,taste grassy and almond. I am not tasting any vanilla but every once in awhile I can taste coconut. But still it is a nice tea.
