About Scottish Morn

Dry Leaves A mixture of dark brown leaves, the smaller pieces and CTC (cut, tear, curl) method make for a stronger tea.
Liquor This is one of our darkest teas, brewing a very dark brown color. Many Scots would lighten it with milk.
Aroma Aroma is not the point of this tea, so there are only hints of suggestions of malt.
Caffeine Level Caffeinated
Body This is the purpose of this tea, and it delivers a very full bodied tea. It is perhaps the strongest tea we offer.
Flavors Strong and simple, this tea is meant to be drunk with milk.
Brewing Time 5 minutes
Brewing Temperature 212° F
Our Review
The Harneys, being of Irish blood, did not offer a Scottish tea until now. Our friends at the American Scottish Federation asked us to do two teas. Our first attempt was a strong tea. They said it was nice, but please make it a wee bit stronger. A portion of the sales goes to support the chartiable endeavors of the ASF.

Don't over brew
Average Review:

Great tea, but make sure you get the leaves out of the water in time or it does get a little bitter. Fantastic tea though, great flavor. I'm not great at describing them, but it tastes a little earthy to me. My second cup involved sugar and milk and I think I will keep drinking it that way.

Ahhh-maaaayyy-ZING!!
Average Review:

I got this randomly because I saw a reviewer post that they think this tea is much stronger than the Irish Breakfast tea and let me just say...they were not wrong. Wow! I love a good strong cup of tea and this is it. I do enjoy the Irish Breakfast as well but this one has a MUCH fuller body which I really enjoy! I cannot go without this tea in my life!

If coffee was tea, it would be this
Average Review:

I am so very in love with this tea. One cup it and it completely replaced my go-to Irish Breakfast. It's strong, dark, rich, and bracing as a highland breeze up your kilt. It's Sean Connery in a cup, accent, eyebrows, and all.

Ten Stars
Average Review:

If I could rate this tea beyond five stars, I would give it a ten. I enjoy this brew because it is strong, dark, and bold. There is a lot of flavor behind the strength. It has got the rich malty depth to keep you warm and awake…no matter how long you wait by the Loch Ness in the foggy morning for a glimpse of a monster.

I'm in LOVE
Average Review:

I can't say enough about this tea. If you like your tea with a bit of cream and a dollop of honey, this is the tea for you. It's got a rich flavor without bitterness. It is a strong tea, but I like strong teas and this doesn't disappoint.

My FAVORITE - not just for the morning!
Average Review:

I love this - any time of the day. The body is nice and holds up to a touch of honey and milk really well. There's a richness in the flavor that I find really pleasing. While this is definitely a full-bodied tea, I don't find it bitter at all. I'm a coffee drinker as well and I find this to be a great substitute. I'll be ordering more!
