My Account Feature
Please note that you do not have to set-up or log in to an account to place an order on our website. You can simply place items in the shopping cart and checkout, entering your billing and shipping information as you go. We have set up the "My account" feature for those customers who wish to retain multiple shipping addresses online.... but it entirely optional.

If you have any questions, please give a call before ordering : 888-427-6398 toll free, or 518-789-2100 ext 2 if calling from outside the US. We are here Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm Eastern Standard Time. If you have already placed an order with us online and want to inquire about your order, you can call us or write to us at ht@harney.com . If you have it available, please reference your order number.

Canadian Orders:
Orders shipping to Canada are usually shipped via First Class Mail International. Our website will determine the cost of shipping your order based on the total weight of the items in your shopping cart. See the chart here for a list of charges based on weight.

International Shipping:
International customers (those outside the U.S.) must choose "international" as a shipping method, .. While we have weights already for the items on our website, shipping costs vary greatly depending on the ship-to country. Please be advised that large international orders can be quite costly to ship, and may incur customs charges upon delivery . Check with your local post office for information on customs charges.

Shipping Rates

If you are shipping to an PO Box or an APO address, your package must ship via US Postal. We apologize but due to the increase in postal rates we have increased our rates for shipping via US Postal..

Our regular shipping is currently via UPS Ground.
2-Day Air Shipping is $10.00 additional (on top of standard shipping)
Next Day Air shipping is $25 extra (on top of standard shipping)
International orders- shipped via Airmail. We will contact you by email or phone to receive your approval of the shipping costs.

Orders being shipped via Next Day Air or 2nd Day Air are not always shipped the day they are placed. Next Day and 2nd Day Air expedites the shipping, but not the order processing time. Orders placed over the weekend (after NOON on Fridays) are shipped no sooner than Monday. We do not ship out packages on the weekend.

Returns
You will be happy with our teas and accessories, or we will satisfy you. Please contact us with any problems. We will help organize any returns.

If you have any questions or problems with your order, please please call us or write to us. We are very busy at this time of year, but we will do our very best to make the situation right. Our physcial address for returns is: Harney & Sons RETURNS DEPT 5723 Route 22 Millerton, NY 12546

If you are returning a package for credit, it is helpful for us to have your original order number (if applicable) written on the outside of the box (and inside too!) If that is not possible, please make sure to include a note with your name, address and phone number, so that we can lookup the order in our system and process a credit.

Sales Tax

Harney.com charges sales tax for teapots and accessories, but not for tea. Tea is food, and food is not taxed.
