SHIPPING RATES
The chart at right shows our
shipping rates to US Addresses. Our standard, default shipping method is
via Ground, and please note that we have now started using FEDEX for many of our Ground deliveries.
** If you cannot accept Fedex deliveries at your location, please write "UPS Only" in the comments section of your order. We will then make sure to ship your order via UPS.
Postal Shippping / PO Boxes /APO Addresses
If you have to ship to a PO Box
or an APO/AE address, you must choose US Postal. UPS and Fedex will not
deliver packages to PO Boxes or APO/AE addresses. Otherwise, consider
having the package delivered to your workplace or to a friend's address.
Time in Transit

Locations. This is the time it takes from when we ship the package to your
order. We ship out packages as fast as possible, but it may take up to two business
days for us to process your order in-house before it
ships. Please note, we ship orders out on Business Days only. That means, we ship out orders Monday through Friday, excepting Holidays. So, if you place your order on a Friday night at 9pm, the soonest your order will ship is Monday.
Orders to Alaska and Hawaii
Orders to Alaska and Hawaii can ship via Fedex (our Ground Shipping) or Postal, or 2nd Day or Next Day Air.
Canadian Orders:
Orders shipping
to Canada are usually shipped via First Class Mail International. We cannot ship Next Day Air or 2nd Day Air to Canada. Our
website will determine the cost of shipping your order based on the total
weight of the items in your shopping cart. For a better estimate on the shipping cost for your order to Canada, place the items you want into your cart, and then press the Shipping Estimate link on the page. Choose Canada as a dropdown, and put in your postal code. You'll see a Canadian Shipping cost related to the weight of your order. Please note: Your order will ship from a US Location, so you may be charged Customs Duties upon receipt. You can call us via our Canadian toll-free number: 888-745-9354
International
Shipping:
International
customers (those outside the U.S. and Canada) must choose "international" as a shipping method. While we have
weights already for the items on our website, shipping costs vary greatly
depending on the ship-to country. Please be advised that large
international orders can be quite costly to ship, and may incur customs
charges upon delivery. Check with your local post office for information on
customs charges.

My Account Feature
Please note that you do not have to set-up or log in to an account to place an order on our website. You can simply place items in the shopping cart and checkout, entering your billing and shipping information as you go. We have set up the "My account" feature for those customers who wish to retain multiple shipping addresses online.... but it entirely optional.

If you are returning a package for credit, it is
helpful for us to have your original order number (if applicable) written
on the outside of the box (and inside too!) If that is not possible,
please make sure to include a note with your name, address and phone
number, so that we can lookup the order in our system and
process a credit.

Sales Tax
Harney & Sons Fine Teas charges sales tax
for teapots and accessories, but not for tea. Tea is food, and food is not
taxed. Remember that famous Tea Party?
