Top Chingwo Congou

This is a stellar black tea from northern Fujian Province. Chingwo is a neighboring town of Panyang, and makes a similar tea. This one has a great body and a lovely, slightly fruity, flavor.

Our Review

Fujian Province in China is known for many great teas. Ti Quan Yin, Lapsang, Dragon Pearl Jasmine, and YinZhen are just a few of them. This Chingwo Congou is less known, but it is a great tea. Along the northern border of Fujian are some regions that make great black teas: Panyang, Zheng He, and Chingwo. This top tea has a lovely unctous or buttery characteristic.
