This is one of the few black teas I've had (and I'm a bit of a tea snob) that's completely drinkable without added milk. I served it to a group of people who insisted they didn't like tea, and half of them went away converted.
I agree with the response re: astringency. This tea will not stand overbrewing. I bought it for an afternoon tea, but I have found it to be too light to withstand milk and sugar. Upping the tea to water ratio or increasing brewing time causes bitterness. On its own and brewed lightly it is delicate and floral.
One of our favorite of the Harney Blends -- a special treat. I serve this to guests for afternoon tea and receive many compliments. I prefer it, though, with the merest pinch of sugar and a dash of milk.
