This is China’s most famous rolled oolong from southern Fujian. The best tea comes from near the city of Anxi. Mike has visited this mecca several times over the last 20 years. Nong Xiang is the traditional darker oolong and Qing Xiang is done in the lighter Taiwanese style. Also, they are from different times of the year. The Chinese say: “Spring soup, and Autumn fragrance”, meaning the Spring teas are a great combination and the Autumn teas have a better nose. Finally, most Ti Quan Yins are rolled using a machine, but we found one that rolled by hand. So, you should be very knowledgeable after trying them.
