Details: There are increasingly more options for organic teas from India. This is a nice blend of an Assam from the northern bank of the Bramaputra River and Korakundah located in southern India.
Dry Leaves: Mostly black and dark brown leaves with a few small golden leaves.
Liquor: A medium-brown with a slight reddish hue.
Aroma: Since these are organic teas the aroma is light. The dark citrus and honey notes are subtle.
Caffeine Level: Caffeinated
Body: These are full leaf teas, so this is a medium bodied black tea. It is not as full bodied as other breakfast teas.
Flavors: The tea is a blend of the light malty notes from the Assam and subtle citrus from the south Indian tea. It is a very nice combination. Don't be afraid to add milk (organic milk, please.)
