Poobong is a Darjeeling Estate at the top of the Mirik Valley. We often find good tea in that valley. This is a 100% organic estate. We found this tea to be a good solid tea, but it does not have much muscatel flavor.
Ingredients: Black tea.
Dry Leaves: Medium dark brown leaves.
Liquor: Dark brown.
Aroma: Biscuity with limited fruit aromas.
Flavors: Toasted biscuits with a tiny bit of jam on top.
