I love linden essential oil, so I had high hopes for a delicate linden tea. When I opened the tin, I was surprised--it was very large leaves and stems. Not necessarily a problem, just new to me (drink primarily black and green, little leaves, no stems). Then I made the tea, and there was hardly any flavor at all. I was expecting it to be delicate, but it was beyond delicate to nearly undetectable. I should have returned it but missed the window. Alas. Gave it away.
I didn't love this tea. The taste was much too light, and when I took the bag out of the cup the bag felt mucousy--I'm an avid tea drinker, and I've never experienced that! It was unpleasant, to say the least. I also didn't like how vague the description was. Flowers doesn't mean much. What kind of flowers are we talking about? Linden, yes, but what else? All in all, if you like light teas, you might like this. Don't touch the bag, though.
This is a nice change of pace. It is light and almost sweet. It's a great evening tea to wrap yourself around after a heavy meal.
