This herbal blend was a mixture of three flowers envisioned about 15 years ago. Although its original goal was to be a beautiful, nice tasting herbal, we discovered that it had great calming properties. Elyse, John Harney's daughter, loves how this tisane calms her down after a very busy day at the office.
I absolutely love chamomile lavender teas, and have tried a lot of different kinds. Never disappointed by a Harney & Sons tea I ordered some. It is really, really good! The flavors of chamomile and lavender are both there, one not overpowering the other. I love to drink this tea when I'm feeling a little overwhelmed, it calms me. (Posted on 9/22/15)
I absolutely love this tea! Chamomile has always been a favorite of mine before bed, but adding lavender just makes it all the better. If you are one of the people who think the taste of chamomile is a little bitter, you should definitely go with this tea. The lavender and cornflowers mixes well with this blend. You definitely will be relaxed after a cup of this herbal. (Posted on 2/6/15)
I bought this on impulse when ordering my Paris tea. I wanted something calming without caffeine. I'm not a fan of chamomile normally, but this blend has changed my mind. It's smooth and mellow but still has a strong flavor I enjoy. Does not need sugar or honey, great just the way it is. I eneded finishing this tea before my beloved Paris blend. A definite pantry staple. (Posted on 12/10/14)
I have always loved chamomile, but this improves on a classic. The mixture of lavender with chamomile is just lovely. It has a mellow and pleasant flavor, even without any sweetener added. I love to have this before bed. (Posted on 12/19/13)
I bought two tins of this tea-- one for my husband who's not really into tea (he's more of a soda guy, but a previous reviewer said it inspired lucid dreams and my guy's into that) and one for my health-obsessed mother. My husband and I both drank the tea unsweetened and were very impressed with the flavor! This tea just tastes well rounded and complete. Usually I can stomach chamomile, but usually it tastes like straw. I like lavender flowers, but I usually find the scent overpowering in soaps and whatnot. However, in this tea everything is prefectly balanced and enjoyable! I snuck my mother a teabag from our tin to try, and she pronounced it just "ok," so I've decided to keep her tea for myself! I love this tea, whenever I can't sleep or am stressed about school or life, this is my go-to tea. After a friend introduced me to it, now I've even gotten some of my friends to fall in love with it too! I don't even like chamomile teas but I can't live without this one. (Posted on 8/26/13)
I have bought this tea a few times and sometimes it is a beautiful blue color and sometimes yellow. I think my last batch got shorted on lavender so I have to put more in BUT it's worth it because I adore this tea. It works to settle my nerves and my stomach. I always reach for this when I'm stressed, sick, and at bedtime. I buy it by the pound and still speed through it. (Posted on 4/17/13)
