Keemun Mao Feng

With thin and twisted strips of black tea with russet interwoven, and the aromas of dark cocoa, this tea is a classic Keemun Mao Feng. It is an early season tea from the famous gardens around Keemun (also known as Qimen) in Anhui Province in China. This is a delightful tea.

Strong Flavor Review by Eric
Average Review:
Smelling the dried leaves has a strong citrus rind aroma. After a 5 minute steep with boiling water, the tea has a deep red color, clear, not cloudy. The taste has strong citrus rind and a bright floral flavor, too overpowering for me. It has no bitterness at all. I think this would be a fine tea for those who like those citrus rind notes, but I prefer Hao Ya A which has a much more mellow flavor profile and is sweeter to the palate. (Posted on 1/24/15)

One of my favorite black teas. Review by Allan Milo

I love this tea! Not too smoky, not too bitter, but still gives a full, smooth, satisfying tea experience. (Posted on 10/30/13)

A great black tea. Review by Mason
Average Review:
This is exactly as advertised: a great black tea. It has a simple, yet satisfying taste that just seems to have the right amount of balance. Would definitely recommend to someone looking for a straight black tea. (Posted on 8/23/13)

The Standard Review by John
Average Review:
This is the black tea I use to compare all other black teas to. I think any black tea drinker will appreciate and enjoy this tea. Perfectly balanced flavor and body. If you like this one you should also try the Hao Ya A, which is also a Keemun. (Posted on 1/31/11)
