This is an ancient tea that has come back to life.

Lung Ching

Lung Chings are famous around the world as the some of the best Chinese green teas. This tea is made by a respected factory two hours outside of the traditional area, and high demand makes for expensive tea.

I';ve been out of this tea for a couple of months (live just over the border in Mass.) and am truly jonesing for it! Will be heading to millerton in the next week. There's the crazy expensive one that I've sampled in the shop, but the basic one is just as good ( at least you don't freak out in the car on the way home b/c you spent so much cash). Easy to do at Harney's , but it's so worth it! (Posted on 12/29/14)

A Great Everyday Cup Review by Tony
Average Review:
I drink this tea most days and have brewed it in a vareity of ways. My favorite so far is with the tasting cup they sell at Harney's shops (I don't have a Yixing pot). It's so good that I'm eager to try the real thing (like their Meijaiwu), but that might have to wait for a special occasion. Definitely one of the better not-quite-Longjing's available. This or Japanese Sencha Everyday Review by Dagon
Average Review:
Wow, oh, WOW! I am blessed to have very sensitive taste buds, and I must say this tea pleases them all. When first pouring the water over the leaves, the wafting aroma greets my nose with the incredible scent of bok choy. From there I patiently wait for that first sip. It is not as delicate of a brew as the Japanese Sencha, but finding the correct brewing temperature and time to extract the amazing flavors was a slight process for me since I don't have a kettle with a temp. reader, but it was most certainly worth every attempt for the future of my tea drinking. I don't give five stars for much of anything when reviewing- I'm not pretentious- I just reserve it for those things truly warranting it and Harney & Sons Lung Ching is a FIVE (5) STAR Product! Good quality Review by Sandy
Average Review:
This tea was my introduction to whole leaf green tea. It is very light as described in Michael Harneys book. I plan on buying a gaiwan in the future and brewing it in the traditional Chinese manner. I bought this, Kagoshima Sencha and Dragon Pearl together and it is somewhat difficult at times to decide which is my favorite :-). (Posted on 9/28/13)

Lung Ching Appreciation. Review by Max
Average Review:
Thanks to Harney & Sons for sourcing this excellent Lung Ching, I no longer have to waste time and money sampling offerings from other companies. I only wish I would have come here first, after realising that Harney & Sons already did all that work. I drink green tea because it is the healthiest caffeinated drink that can be found, and it helps me wind down when I get home from work. It also has just enough caffeine to stop me from crashing as soon as I get home, so I can enjoy my evening. The flavor of this tea is very simple and pleasant, reminding me mostly of sweet white corn. After having this tea a for a little over a week, I have found that I can get two steepings of equal quality and flavor if the first steeping is 2 minutes and the second is 3 minutes 30 seconds. The third steeping doesnt seem to lose any aroma, but is a little less flavorful. Thanks for reading! (Posted on 6/13/13)

I drink this everyday Review by Ryan
Average Review:
I've been drinking Harney's Lung Ching daily for several years now. When I've run low I've dried Lung Ching/Long Jing/Dragonwell (all the same tea) from several other vendors and nothing compares to the quality and price of Harney. This tea is the reason I place several Harney orders per year! (Posted on 2/19/13)
