Our Review
Because Brigitte Harney is French, we are always on the lookout for traditional French beverages. And one does not get more French or more traditional than Tilleul. This is what Proust remembered along with some nice Madeleine cookies, so create some fond memories.

Tilleul (Linden Leaves)

From Provence, France comes Tilleul, a light and lively blend of the linden tree's fragrant flowers and leaves. The naturally caffeine-free herbal is prized for its subtle floral quality as well as its mild digestive and sleep benefits. The flowers and tender leaves produce a light, woodsy brew, as beautiful as its taste, in a mingling of forest-like green and yellow that's all part of the charm.

Basically hot water. Review by Angela
Average Review:
I love linden essential oil, so I had high hopes for a delicate linden tea. When I opened the tin, I was surprised--it was very large leaves and stems. Not necessarily a problem, just new to me (drink primarily black and green, little leaves, no stems). Then I made the tea, and there was hardly any flavor at all. I was expecting it to be delicate, but it was beyond delicate to nearly undetectable. I should have returned it but missed the window. Alas. Gave it away. (Posted on 9/13/12)

Not too big a fan of Tilleul... Review by Rhiannon
Average Review:
I didn't love this tea. The taste was much too light, and when I took the bag out of the cup the bag felt mucousy--I'm an avid tea drinker, and I've never experienced that! It was unpleasant, to say the least. I also didn't like how vague the description was. Flowers doesn't mean much. What kind of flowers are we talking about? Linden, yes, but what else? All in all, if you like light teas, you might like this. Don't touch the bag, though. (Posted on 7/14/11)

This is a nice change of pace. It is light and almost sweet. It's a great evening tea to wrap yourself around after a heavy meal. (Posted on 1/29/11)

Very light flavor Review by H
Average Review:
I received a pack of this in a sampler and found that the flavor was just too light for me. I may try the Mint Tilleul in the future as the flavor was nice. If you enjoy lighter flavors this is for you. (Posted on 12/5/09)
