Our Review
This is an old time tea blend. All of the teas were available 100 years ago. They were drunk by people in that period of history, and though we do not know that this blend was on the tragic voyage, it could have been. Since introducing it in the spring of 2012, we have found that many people love this blend. Helping the good cause of ocean preservation, by assisting the Ocean Conservancy, increases the enjoyment.

RMS Titanic

Harney & Sons created RMS Titanic Blend as a tribute to the tragedy and heroism of “A Night to Remember." P. H. Nargeolet, one of the divers with the French exploratory group at Woods Hole in Massachusetts when the Titanic was found, encouraged John Harney to create a commemorative tea to honor the 100th Anniversary of those who perished when the Titanic sank. John created this special blend to reflect the quality of tea that was served on that voyage. It features Chinese Keemun, one of the last teas from China that the British still consumed in 1912. By then, they had mostly shifted to black teas from Assam, India and Ceylon. The blend also includes Formosa Oolong, which was popularized in both the UK and the US by an enterprising Brit. This blend would have been recognizable to tea lovers of that era. A portion of the sales of our RMS Titanic Blend tea will go to The Ocean Conservancy, the dedicated organization committed to preserving our Earth's oceans. We hope you will enjoy this tea and “Remember."

Delightfully smooth and delicious Review by Morning Lover
Average Review:
I opened my sample of this tea not knowing what to expect. What I discovered was a blissfully smooth, delightfully fragrant tea. As I sipped and enjoyed, I found myself wanting to embrace this new day. I ordered the tea because of what it represents - a different time and place, one that is forever etched in my mind through books and movies about the Titanic and its passengers, a microcosm of society at the time. Thank you, Harney & Sons, for this tangible connection to that era and the passengers on the Titanic. This wonderful tea was a departure from my usual full-bodied Assam. Departures are good. :-) I will be ordering more. (Posted on 6/20/16)

What a wonderful tea! The smell has coco and honey notes with a taste as equally sweet. It's rich and dark and has a nice smooth mouth feel. Great with cream and sugar. (Posted on 12/5/13)

Smooth and Mild (Loose Leaf) Review by TeaLuva
Average Review:
This is a very nice light Oolong with very slight undertones of a very light light fruity tea. It also doesn't give an aftertaste like some other Oolongs. Lurve it. Highly recommended- especially for the price. (Posted on 9/23/13)
