It fills your mouth quickly with a weaker fruity taste, but ends with a killer strawberry-kiwi aftertaste. I really like the lasting sweet presence directly after a sip.
This a nice tea, but I recommend drinking it as an iced tea. I wish that hibiscus had not been added, because the hibiscus gives the tea blend a bitter taste (which, with the tartness of the kiwi, might be too much). To fix this, one could add sugar, but then that defeats the purpose of trying to drink a caffeine-free, no sugar added, healthy beverage. Over all, I do not regret drinking this tea, but I would not purchase it again.
I was looking for flavored drinks for the summer with no additives, no caffeine and no sugar - and I looked at Harney and found this tea - what a discovery! This is a refreshing flavorful tea which I serve iced garnished with slices of strawberries or Kiwi – I was thinking perhaps of adding a mint garnish as well (haven’t done it yet). I also have made a concentrate with the tea and used it mixed with champagne (for the morning) or gin (afternoon/evening) for a delicious cocktail, though some sugar was needed with the gin – not much. It’s a “girly” drink, I know. :) I am going to explore with more combinations as well.
I make a large, fresh pot of this tea on warm days and enjoy it all day! I highly recommend this tea – what a find!
