Our Review
This is a wonderful tea. Nowadays, it is overlooked by many, since they are impressed by its flashier cousin: Dragon Pearl. However, Yin Hao (silver hair) is the perfect blend of a nice base tea, sweetness, and jasmine flavor.
Dry Leaves Elegant curls of green and white leaves. There is the occasional dried jasmine flower.
Liquor A light and clear liquor that is tinged a pale yellow.
Aroma A heady aroma of Jasmine that lightens your mood.
Caffeine Level Caffeinated
Body This is a medium bodied tea. Since it is a mixture of green leaf and white tip, it has some heft.
Flavors On top of the mild vegetal flavors, the flavor of fresh Jasmine arises.
Brewing Time 2 to 3 minutes
Brewing Temperature 175° F

The BEST jasmine tea, IMO
Average Review:

This is by far my favorite tea! My local tea shop stopped stocking yin hao on their shelves years ago (I imagine it's because the name of their other jasmine tea - jasmine dragon tears - is more endearing to the average tea drinker, and thus was being ordered more frequently than the yin hao), but the H&S version is nearly identical, so I've relied on them ever since. :) It's a light, flowery tea that isn't too earthy or "green." It almost tastes like an herbal blend to me, although it's definitely caffeinated (best of both worlds!).

The perfect jasmine tea
Average Review:

I've been looking for a loose Jasmine Yin Hao since my local tea shop stopped stocking it; this is the perfect light tea if it's brewed correctly. I honestly have a hard time trying new teas when I know I can just have a pot of this instead. :)
