Our Review
This is a wonderful tea. Nowadays, it is overlooked by many, since they are impressed by its flashier cousin: Dragon Pearl. However, Yin Hao (silver hair) is the perfect blend of a nice base tea, sweetness, and jasmine flavor.
Dry Leaves Elegant curls of green and white leaves. There is the occasional dried jasmine flower.
Liquor A light and clear liquor that is tinged a pale yellow.
Aroma A heady aroma of Jasmine that lightens your mood.
Caffeine Level Caffeinated
Body This is a medium bodied tea. Since it is a mixture of green leaf and white tip, it has some heft.
Flavors On top of the mild vegetal flavors, the flavor of fresh Jasmine arises.
Brewing Time 2 to 3 minutes
Brewing Temperature 175° F

Yin Hao Jasmine – Loose Tea, Sample

SKU# 49008-084

Our exceptional scented Yin Hao Jasmine begins with a very flavorful Pouchong (an almost green tea). Then for seven nights, fresh jasmine flowers are interspersed among the tea leaves. The dry leaves absorb the floral essence, preserving it for your brewing pleasure. Loose tea, sample.

Light Flavour, Odd Aroma
Average Review:

Light teas aren't my favorite, and after a cup of this, the very light flavor just didn't satisfy me like black teas, however I couldn't expect much from my first time trying Jasmine tea, thus I cannot make a full review of this beyond what I, a 'strong black-tea' drinker, have experienced from this one.

What I like:
-The liquor, as it is a nice and light yellow, with a nice 'weight' to the liquor.
-The subtle flavors, which I barely notice since I mostly drink the stronger teas out there, though they are there. I cannot make out what they certainly are, but it has an interesting aftertaste reminiscent of the tea's rather strong aroma.

What I dislike:
-The aroma. The tea's aroma itself isn't that terrible, but it just has a very odd smell that I could only describe as 'artificial' or a smell similar to plastic and other artificial materials. The bag, of course, smells even stronger.

Over all, I didn't particularly enjoy this tea, however my inexperience with Jasmine teas does not help with my review, thus one should not take my review as a truly useful source.

I could only recommend you to try this tea, as you never know if you will love it or hate it!
