Our Review
In June of 1997, President Bill Clinton hosted a G8 (Group of Eight) summit in Denver. One of the events was at a friend's restaurant: the Arnold's The Fort that is high above the city. We were commissioned to do a special tea for that event. So we carefully chose eight special teas that would combine together in the hope of a better future.

Perfect Blend
Average Review:

This is a wonderful tea, quite possibly the perfect blend. It is my second favorite right behind Tower of London. Please don't pass up the opportunity to try some, if you don't like this tea there is something wrong with your taste buds.

The perfect blend in every way
Average Review:

Eight at the Fort is the perfect blend. The dried tea is a handsome blend of textures, colors, and aromas. But the brewed tea! Robust and enchantingly aromatic. I drink my tea strong and black, and many teas--even those I like--can be harsh on the stomach. Consumed strong and black and even on an empty stomach, Eight at the Fort is smooth, kind, and invigorating. Masterful!

A bit dry for my taste, but a good blend.
Average Review:

This tea has a very nice, full and almost sweet aroma. The flavor is not as bold as the aroma, and not as sweet. It has a dry, almost slightly metallic finish. Adding a little cream seemed to drown out the tea flavor but left the dryness. I can tell that it is a good blend, however, leaning a little to the dry side. Those who prefer Keemun will probably enjoy it more than those who prefer, say, Assam, but it's worth at least trying if you enjoy black tea.

Spritely and Aromatic
Average Review:

What a delight it was to take my first--and second and third, etc.--sniff and sip of this sprightly, aromatic, medium-bodied tea. I always drink my tea black so find Eight at the Fort good any time of day.

GREAT TEA
Average Review:

Just received my tin of tea in the mail. Can't wait to have a cup. Had in a restaurart last month. Just loved it. Went so well with my Lemon Tart. The 8 teas intrigue me, was sure there had to be some green included. Would love to know what 8 teas are included. I sure hope I am not disappointed as the one lady. Would love to try some of your other teas, but hate to buy that much when I don't know if I would like it.

Another flavorful tea that I so enjoy but I'll be darn if I can explain why! It's just good!

Not A Favorite
Average Review:

I have tried brewing this using different amts of tea, and different water temps, but it remains weak with little flavor or body. After reading reviews here, I'm thinking I might have received the odd, bad batch. Unfortunately bought 8 oz and am ready to discard. Just tastes flavorless and flat.

Wonderfully complex tea
Average Review:

Was intrigued to see what a combination of eight different teas would taste like, and I wasn't disappointed. It took me a while to figure out how to brew it properly, but I've found that using water below boiling seems to work best for me. A complex and multi-layered tea. It's hard for me to describe, but suffice to say I love it ^_^
