Body	With big leaves and the loads of tips, the body is lighter than most of the other black tea blends.
Flavors	The tea flavors are highlighted by notes of apricot, cocoa and honey.

Our Review

Golden tipped teas are special, so Mike thought to combine two of them. These two are the pride of their production areas: northern Fujian Province and northern Assam. For those that are tempted, a splash of milk will not hurt his tea.

Very Nice!

The Assam definitely asserts itself up front, with the honey/apricot subtly balancing it in the background. A good bodied tea without being overpowering. The briskness rating of 2 might be a bit low in my honest opinion, I might call it a 3...but don't let that stop you from trying this very fine tea! Great with a splash of milk for your morning wake up.

Best of the Blacks

This is my favorite so far of the black teas. It is a very filling and warm cup that has a sweet after taste. The cocoa flavor note is apt, but I would also describe it as having a subtle Molasses/caramel finish. Not to sweet but not to earthy. Very complex and refined. I drink it straight, but milk would accent as well.
