Our Review
Few buildings have the history of the Tower of London. First it was a fort. Then it became the royal prison, so there were some unhappy endings here. It has even stored the Crown Jewels. So when we were commissioned by the Historic Royal Palaces to do a tea in honor of it, we took it seriously (who wants to do time there?) The color of the tin is inspired by amethyst.
Dry Leaves The Chinese leaves are medium sized and black.
Liquor The liquor is medium to dark brown.
Aroma A wonderfully refreshing tea with fruity aromas, vanilla, and undertones of honey.
Caffeine Level Caffeinated
Body A medium to strong body.
Flavors This tea is complicated, like the Tower itself. It has flavors similar to Earl Grey, Vanilla and Black Currant. There is also a nice touch of honey.
Brewing Time 4 to 5 minutes
Brewing Temperature 212° F

Tower of London

Chinese black teas are stirred with pieces of dried stone fruit, then finished with oil of bergamot and honey flavor. This blend is reminiscent of Elizabethan preserves, flavorful and tempting.

My intro to Harney
Average Review:

This was one of the first teas from Harney's that we tried. I found it reduced at Williams-Sonoma. Wow,was that a stroke of luck! This became an instant favorite. It just has a great blend of flavor and has not become bitter the next day if we don't finish (this is extremely rare). You won't regret trying this one.

Very happy with this blend
Average Review:

I bought this blend for my birthday tea party and it is the best blend of tea that I've tried (and I've tried numerous blends from different brands). It smells incredible! You can taste the sweetness by just smelling it. I wouldn't mind having my whole house in this wonderful smell. The tea it self was as delicious as the smell, a good balance blend; not too weak and not too strong. Overall, I was VERY happy with this blend.

the most superb tea in the world!
Average Review:

I was give this tea as a gift (im a coffee drinker) so wasnt expecting much but the beautiful smell had me dying to try it! Heavily vanilla and honey notes and an almost floral aroma reminiscent of old english roses and a warm summers afternoon.

The smell was divine and the brew surpassed the dreamy aroma. Its smooth, aromatic and amazingly relaxing. It's a drink to take your time over, one that makes you feel thoroughly indulgent.

Perfect on its own but delightful with a nice scone and jam.

I will never be without my Tower of London and it has kicked my coffee habit!
