Tower of London

Chinese black teas are stirred with pieces of dried stone fruit, then finished with oil of bergamot and honey flavor. This blend is reminiscent of Elizabethan preserves, flavorful and tempting.

Our Review
Few buildings have the history of the Tower of London. First it was a fort. Then it became the royal prison, so there were some unhappy endings here. It has even stored the Crown Jewels. So when we were commissioned by the Historic Royal Palaces to do a tea in honor of it, we took it seriously (who wants to do time there?) The color of the tin is inspired by amethyst.

Not what I was expecting
Average Review:

From the description this tea seemed like something I would enjoy, however it turned out to be a very strong yet muddled flavor. I was expecting something closer the the Diamond Jubilee, and received something that was nowhere close.

FANTASTIC TEA!!
Average Review:

Now I am a regular coffee drinker, but only once a day (mornings) but I was recently stuck at home for a week with bronchitis and research on the internet said hot drinks would be good for my throat and aid in reducing the coughing so I started sipping some tea I had in the house. It worked well, but I wanted something better than what I could find in the store so I went to Harney's website!! I ordered a sample of this tea and decided to try tea with milk for the first time ever. And WOW!! It was SOOO delicious and soothing! Needless to say I ordered the 1 lb bag today and can't wait to get it because my sample is all gone. YOU MUST TRY THIS TEA! Very fragrant and tasty, especially when sweetened with demerara sugar. Exceptional flavor and aroma!

My number one!
Average Review:

I have over 50 different H&S Teas and this one, by a wide wide margin is my favorite, breakfast lunch and dinner and anywhere in between it is perfect. With or with out suger, milk or honey it is in a class of its own. It smells superb, and the taste is just heaven. I am amazed that this tea doesn't cost more. Its taste is complex and smooth, I cannot say enough about this tea. Dont waste you time on the small tin, you will need at least a pound, I sure did!

Smooth and flavorful
Average Review:

For the past nine years, my favorite has been F&M's Royal Blend, but now unobtainable unless a trip to London, which sent me looking for an alternative. The Tower of London is exquisitely smooth and flavorful, and is my new favorite- and - it is readily available!!! I have a dozen Harney & Son teas now and love them all.
