I LOVE crispy rice treats probably too much. I came up with this recipe haphazardly while trying to create a new St. Patty's sweet. You can taste the matcha despite all the sugar, and it probably has some energizing effects between the two of them! Plus I was a big fan of Horrible Harry and The Green Slime growing up and this brings me way back.

I love Krispy treats, with being a diabetic it just has to much sugar. The cinnamon tea is perfect for diabetics

Are you sure that’s enough butter? Cus I really thought you add more.

Good addition to the regular recipe for Rice Krispy Treats and nice to make a light treat healthier with antioxidant benefits, also yes to the lady who asked about the amount of butter that is the correct and normal amount for a batch. Do lightly grease your 13×9 cake pan very lightly with butter so they don’t stick. They are delicious. Sometimes I make them with the addition of Dragonfruit powder as well, black raspberry powder, use your imagination. Thank you for posting this recipe Alex. Well done.
