Description

We created Chai as our ultimate sweet and spicy chai tea after a large portion of our customers told us that our Indian Spice wasn't exactly what they were looking for in a chai tea. This blend features black tea from India, cardamom seeds, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and natural cardamom and vanilla flavors.

 Details: To help you make the delightful Indian beverage of chai, we created this blend. It is strong and definitely spicy, although we do not add the peppers found in many Indian chai recipes. Just add the milk and sugar you think are correct. It may also be drunk on its own.
 Dry Leaves: The blend contains Indian black tea, cardamom seeds, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and natural cardamom and vanilla flavors.
 Liquor: The liquor is medium to dark brown.
 Aroma: The spice of nutmeg and cardamom comes through.
 Flavors: Chai tastes like a mixture of strong spices and makes delicious chai tea.
 Caffeine Level: Caffeinated
 Body: Strong-bodied, bold.
 Brewing Time: 5 minutes
 Brewing Temp: 212º

Loose/Sachets: Black tea, cardamom flavor, cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla flavor. Contains natural flavors.

Directions & Recipes

How to Make Chai

  1. Heat one pint of milk and one cup of water in a saucepan over medium heat until warm.
  2. Add 3 level teaspoons, teabags, or sachets of Chai tea and 6 Demerara sugar cubes (or to taste).
  3. Simmer for 4 minutes.
  4. Remove tea leaves and pour into mugs or a teapot.
