This delicious, dark tea comes to us from YaAn, Sichuan at a garden located 900m above sea level. Dark Tibet Tea has a long cherished history, being first recorded a beverage consumed in 1066. It was even brought as tribute during the Tang Dynasty, when Princess Wencheng was married. It has a storied history with the Tea-Horse Road.

This is a post-oxidation dark tea, like a Pu-Erh from neighboring Yunnan. There is a bit of fermentation that happens after the tea is made. Adding complex earthy flavors.

Ingredients: Black tea.
