Details:In the 1980's, John Harney was at the barricades of the tea revolution. When Malachi McCormick published (on his tiny press) A Decent Cup of Tea, John fell in love with this fellow traveler. Together, they did a few tea projects; one was this tea. It has been described as "a pure and simple tea that is unpretentious and affordable."
Dry Leaves:Simple black tea leaves.
Liquor:Dark brown.
Aroma:Since this is a blend of simple teas, the aroma is muted malt and suggestive of cocoa.
Flavors:The unpretenious flavors of muted dark honey and unsweetened cocoa. It is perfectly suited for milk (and more than a splash) and sugar.

Body:Medium-bodied. As this is a British Legacy Tea, the body is strong yet simple.
