There’s nothing like the taste of fresh strawberries in the summer…which is why we decided to pair them with matcha, some cream and ice for a perfect summertime sip!

Strawberry Iced Matcha Latte

Be sure to plan ahead and make your matcha ice cubes the night before so they have time to freeze.

Ingredients:

Frozen Matcha Ice Cubes
  1. 1 tsp matcha powder
  2. 6 oz. oat milk
    Sweetened Matcha
    1. 1 tsp matcha powder
    2. 1 tsp agave
    3. 6 oz. oat milk
      Strawberry Sweet Cream
      1. 2-3 medium strawberries
      2. 2 oz. heavy cream
      3. 1 oz. milk
      4. 1 tsp agave

        Directions: 

        Matcha Ice Cubes
        1. In a small bowl, sift in matcha powder.
        2. Pour in hot (175º) milk and whisk vigorously with a bamboo whisk until dissolved and slightly foamy on top.
        3. Pour into an ice cube mold and freeze overnight.
        Strawberry Sweet Cream
        1. In a small blender, blend together strawberries, heavy cream, milk and sweetener for 5-10 seconds until the consistency resembles melted ice cream.
        Sweetened Matcha
        1. In a small bowl, sift in matcha powder.
        2. Pour in hot milk and whisk vigorously with a bamboo whisk until dissolved and slightly foamy on top.
        3. Stir in agave while it's still warm.
        Matcha Latté
        1. Fill a glass about ¾ full with matcha ice cubes. Pour in matcha.
        2. Pour strawberry sweet cream on top of the matcha latte and give it a gentle stir to blend the layers into a gradient.
