Make a list. Check it twice. Make a list of things you’re running low on or special items you may need for Christmas dinner (butter, flour, sugar, *ahem* Harney teas *ahem*) and make a trip to the grocery store. Sticking to your list will help make sure you get everything you need in one visit and help you avoid that dreaded Christmas Eve run.
Wrap up your holiday shopping. Don’t put off ordering Christmas presents. The later you shop the harder it will be to find the items or sizes you want. Even if you’re lucky enough to find that the gift you want to give is still in stock, Mother Nature loves to show her strength around the holidays and is not afraid to brew up a sudden ice storm that can delay your packages for days. So plan ahead, andorder your gifts well in advance.
Deck the halls. Get ready for company and deck those halls! Turn on your favorite holiday jams, break out the string lights, and get decorating. Plan your place settings and tablescape. Do you haveteacups for everyone who may want some after-dinner tea or coffee? Double-check that you have enough sheets and towels for your guests. Make sure there is shampoo, soap, and toothpaste in each bathroom. Planning well in advance for company and anticipating their needs will help make their stay more enjoyable for everyone involved.
Sleigh the holidays.Christmas doesn’t need to be stressful. Planning ahead can help you avoid any last-minute trips or expenses and leave you with more time to relax with your favorite Harney tea.
