Details: On his first trip to Asia in 1996, Mike visited many tea estates. Chamraj was a very distinctive one, with a rhythmic rise and fall of the brilliant green tea fields, punctuated by lots of lovely flowers. He has kept his eyes open for teas from Chamraj ever since. This tea is representative of teas from Nilgiri and is a sister estate to Korakundah.
Dry Leaves: Black leaves that are about a 1/2 inch long. The FOP means Flowery Orange Pekoe, referring to the larger size of the leaf. When the tea is made, it's rolled between two large metal plates. Some of the leaves retain a larger size while some are crushed. The FOP are those leaves that retain the larger size.
     Liquor: A light brown liquor.
    Aroma: Light citrus notes.
Flavors: A nice mellow flavor with hints of citrus notes. It is often drunk with milk and sugar.
     Caffeine Level:
    Caffeinated
Body: Light-bodied. The larger leaf makes for a mellow tea, so it tends to be towards the lighter side for a black tea.º
     Brewing Time:
    3 minutes
     Brewing Temp: 212º
