PBP Farms is a small 1000-tap maple syrup operation located in Sharon, CT, nestled in the foothills of the Berkshires. They started out as a very small operation making 50 gallons of maple syrup a year. This year they have expanded their untapped sugar bushes and hope to yield around 500 gallons of syrup. The majority of their maple trees are sugar maples. They pride themselves on taking the time to produce the best syrup, from the boiling for proper sugar level, to the filter and canning/bottling process to assure it is the freshest and best tasting local organic maple syrup available.
