Meet Taylor. He’s the well-groomed face behind The Tie Guy, a popular menswear blog that discusses everything from skincare to, you guessed it, ties. Harney & Sons had the chance to sit down with Taylor to learn more about his passion for fashion, and we loved chatting with him so much for this series that we knew he had to be at our epic tea party this spring.

Want to get to know The Tie Guy a little bit more? Read his full Teafluencers interview and watch his video from the #ThisIsTea tea party shoot below.

Harney: Why is fashion your passion?

Taylor: Style always leaves a powerful first impression.

Harney: Describe your personal style.

Taylor: Mixing highs with lows, vintage with new.

Taylor: A blue blazer and a brown pair of shoes.

Harney: Please share your favorite style advice.

Taylor: Dress what feels comfortable. Always wear clothing that fits.

Harney: What and/or who inspires you most?

Taylor: The 1950s.

Harney: What do you hope others learn from you and your blog/style?

Taylor: Learn to dress well with less clothing than you already own.

Harney: How/when did you discover our tea and why do you drink it?

Taylor: In high school my parents bought it and I eventually tried some. I drank it because it was high quality tea and I enjoyed the taste.

Harney: What is your favorite type of tea and favorite type of Harney & Sons tea?

Taylor: Matcha! It feels great when consumed. My favorite type of Harney tea is the chocolate mint. Lots of flavor!

Taylor’s blue blazer is awesome. Any way to find out the cost and place purchased?

there is nothing better than a well dressed man. sometimes men forget to “dress.” it makes you feel good and look good and to top it off, have a cup of Green Tea from Harney’s. Their quality of teas of fresh, tasty and makes you feel, “all dressed up.”
