Description
Peppermint Herbal is a single-ingredient herbal infusion, nothing but peppermint leaves grown in Washington State, which makes it about the only tea or tisane we offer from the USA. The cup is brisk, clean, and wonderfully aromatic, with a crisp mint finish and no caffeine at all.
One ingredient means nowhere to hide, so the leaf has to be excellent, and this one is. It is just as good chilled over ice in the hot months as it is steaming after dinner.
Our Tin of 30 Sachets is part of our collection with Historic Royal Palaces, an independent charity that looks after the Tower of London, Hampton Court Palace, the Banqueting House, Kensington Palace, Kew Palace, and Hillsborough Castle and Gardens.

Other mint teas seem weak after getting used to this one.
Generous amount of tea - lovely strength and aroma.
freshest smell, not tea dust but real leaves.
Four Decades of Tradition
Three generations later, we still follow his one rule: only buy and blend teas that make us smile. Today we blend more than 300 of them from a home base in Millerton, New York, where the third generation is adding blends of its own.

How to Enjoy It
Peppermint is a single ingredient doing all the work, which is exactly its charm. Here is how we brew it so the mint stays crisp instead of dull.
Water
Start with fresh spring or filtered water. With one ingredient in the cup, the water is half the recipe.
Hot
As an herbal infusion, you'll want water at a full boil (212ºF). Steep 5 minutes so the mint has room to open up.
- 1 sachet per 12 oz mug
- 1 teaspoon loose (2.5 g) per 8 oz cup
Iced
Brew it double strength, twice the tea for the same water, then pour straight over a tall glass of ice. Peppermint is made for this: the mint reads even cooler over ice, and a caffeine-free pitcher can go all day. Summers run hot where this mint grows, so a cold glass suits it.
