China 2018 Zhejiang

Summer has come to China and it is nice and warm. However there was cruel frost about a month ago that destroyed much of the Lung Ching tea production. That has caused serious disruption for this famous tea. We were able find some nice tea from Mejiawu, although it is more expensive. We are on our Plan C for our less expensive Lung Ching. And looking for a Plan D. 

We went up to lovely Anji and our friend Mr Wang. There the frost caused less problems. So we bought the Anji Bancha and Anji Black. We love these teas because they have so much of mouth filling amino acids that also add sweetness.

On the way back to Hangzhou, we bought some Jin Shan. Then we climbed hill to the Jin Shan Temple. It is much larger than I remembered. We got there late, so we had to look through door cracks thanks see the golden Buddhas. However the tranquility of dusk was more in keeping with a religious place.

Wonderful site I will defiantly follow your blog. I am new to exploring tea. I only drink my tea at my cabin which is located 31 miles on the Teklinika river in Alaska. The tea experience is my treat and get a way when I am there.
