Description
Hot Cinnamon Spice is a black tea blended with three types of cinnamon, orange peel, and sweet cloves. John Harney, our founder, created it in our beginning years, and it has been the tea most people discover us through ever since. It is bold and warming, with a sweet-spicy character that tastes sweet even though there is no added sugar or sweeteners anywhere in it. The sweetness comes from the spices themselves.
It holds up beautifully to a splash of milk, and it is just as good over ice. For a lot of people, it is the tea they keep in the cupboard year round.

What Customers Say
4.9 out of 5 · 13,958 reviews
Hot Cinnamon Spice is a great tea - I drink it hot and iced and it never requires any sugar because it is already perfectly sweet.
If you let it sit a bit, really spicy, which is how I like it.
Been drinking this wonderful tea for 12 years.
Four Decades of Tradition
Three generations later, we still follow his one rule: only buy and blend teas that make us smile. Today we blend more than 300 of them from a home base in Millerton, New York, where the third generation is adding blends of its own.

How to Enjoy It
A great cup of tea is a simple thing to make, but it's the small details that make it worth it. Good water, a proper boil, a few minutes of patience. None of it takes much, and together they turn an everyday cup into something you look forward to.
Water
Start with fresh spring or filtered water. It's nearly everything in the cup, and even a tea this bold takes on whatever's in the tap.
Hot
With its black tea base, you'll want to use boiling water (212ºF). Steep 5 minutes so the cinnamon, orange, and cloves have time to come forward.
- 1 sachet per 12 oz mug
- 1 teabag per 8 oz cup
- 1 teaspoon loose (2.5 g) per 8 oz cup
Iced
Brew it double strength, twice the tea for the same water, then pour straight over a tall glass of ice. It holds its spice as it dilutes instead of washing out.
