Royal Wedding Cocktail Recipe

Like every American, we are obsessed with the royal family and are counting down the days until the royal wedding on May 19th. To celebrate Prince Harry and Ms. Meghan Markle’s impending nuptials, we asked one of our favorite mixologists,Stacie of Garden Cocktails, to create a cocktail using our specialRoyal Wedding blend that we could enjoy while watching all of the happenings at Windsor Castle. Yes, we realize it will be 7 am our time, but would it really be a wedding celebration without a cocktail or two? Check out the recipe and see what Stacie had to say about this one-of-a-kind tea cocktail below.

"The only thing of equal fun to drinking a new cocktail experiment is inventing one where the ingredients have a story and meaning behind them. Recently I was asked by Emeric Harney of Harney Teas to create a cocktail using theirRoyal Wedding tea to celebrate the upcoming wedding between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. I used a British gin mixed with the American tea to represent Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's heritages... And champagne for celebration!

The Royal Wedding tea has flavors of coconut, almond, and vanilla— but it smells just like chocolate. I love those flavor moments where you can experience a flavor without using the *actual* ingredient it smells or tastes like. To complement the tea, I added mint to celebrate the season and celery bitters because I thought the drink needed something unique to reflect how special the next generations of the royal family will be!"
