Des-Tea-Nation: London Day 6

Our fun is almost over, but we do have one more action packed day.

We journey down the Thames, past the Docklands where all the tea for England landed, to the Royal city of Greenwich. I am looking forward to seeing the Cutty Sark. Many a chest of tea was carried by this ship. And the grandfather of my father's tea mentor: Stanley Mason could have bought tea of this ship back in the 1870's.

Not to mention that Brigitte has developed a fondness for scotch.

Also to see the Prime Meridian will be very interesting. I remember reading about John Harrison's Chronometer, so that ships could find their position on the vast ocean. This became essential for the global tea trade.
