Description
Earl Grey Supreme is a refined, full-leaf Earl Grey, a black tea blend finished with natural Oil of Bergamot from Calabria, Italy. Where a classic Earl Grey is all black tea and bergamot, the Supreme adds traditional oolong, white tea silver tips for a natural sweetness, over a base of Assam, Keemun, and Ceylon. The result is lighter, softer, and more aromatic, with more bergamot and a pleasant finish.
Bright with citrus, it is easy to drink plain or with a splash of milk. Most people who try the Supreme do not go back to an ordinary Earl Grey.

Most Earl Grey's use the citrus to dress up a plain black base. I wanted a base worth drinking on its own, so we created this one with a delicious black tea base.
What Customers Say
4.9 out of 5 · 4,110 reviews
I inhale the beautiful aroma of the tea leaves every morning before I fill my tea pot, the perfect way to start every morning.
I let it steep longer than usual for that rich full flavor I love so much.
This particular blend is great with lemon or even with a little milk (try adding the milk first).
Four Decades of Tradition
Three generations later, we still follow his one rule: only buy and blend teas that make us smile. Today we blend more than 300 of them from a home base in Millerton, New York, where the third generation is adding blends of its own.

How to Enjoy It
Earl Grey Supreme is nuanced where most Earl Greys are bold, and all the better for it. Here is how to make it best.
Water
Start with fresh spring or filtered water. It's nearly everything in the cup, and even a tea this bold takes on whatever's in the tap.
Hot
With its black tea base, you'll want to use boiling water (212ºF). Steep 5 minutes so the bergamot and citrus have room to come forward.
- 1 sachet per 12 oz mug
- 1 teabag per 8 oz cup
- 1 teaspoon loose (2.5 g) per 8 oz cup
Iced
Brew it double strength, twice the tea for the same water, then pour straight over a tall glass of ice. The bergamot stays bright as it dilutes instead of washing out.
