Hands of a Tea Man

Mr. Zhao in Meijia Wu

We visited our Lung Ching tea maker. Mr. Zhao works in a very hot wok making our best Lung Ching. He puts the fresh leaves into the wok and presses the tiny leaves down in a complex manner.

He works from his house in Meijia Wu outside of Hangzhou. All that intense heat have toughened his hands.

His wife made a great lunch for us including baby shrimps in fresh Lung Ching tea leaves.

Their granddughter amused us.
