Matcha iri Genmaicha
Mike's son Emeric popularized this tea for the Harneys years ago. He used to take some of the Matcha Jobetsugi and dust our Genmaicha with it. It became a big hit at our Millerton shop. So we rolled it out!

Powdered green teas have been consumed in China and Japan for centuries. However, it is only in the last few decades that Westerners have acquired a taste for this ancient tea. We enjoy the bracing vegetal flavors, as well as the unusual process for preparing the tea. We offer a range of thin, thick, and extra-thick Matcha grades depending upon your taste and purpose, varieties with added flavors, as well as accessories you'll need for preparation and serving.

This ancient tea is made from shade-grown tea, the best coming from outside of Kyoto. After harvest, the tea (called Tencha) is air-dried. After a full hour of grinding, each stone produces two ounces of dried matcha.
The popularity of our Matcha iri Genmaicha made us curious to explore other Matcha blends. Here, we’ve taken the delicious flavor of peaches and paired it with great Japanese green teas.
Love Earl Grey, but I am not a big fan of matcha. I am trying to learn to like matcha, so the combination with Earl Grey is helping me acquire a taste for matcha. It is quite good!

When I am running out the door don't have time to brew my own tea, this has become my go-to tea. I love the flavor and love the fact that there isn't any added sugar.

This is by far our favorite. It converted my wife to a daily matcha drinker. We brew it and drink it iced all day. It’s awesome with fresh lemon. No sweetener needed.

Absolutely delightful matcha!
I have matcha every morning
to start my day. The quantity and price is very reasonable for the quality of the matcha.
